Drew Downing
Recognised for his work in arts education, Drew has assisted with implementing performing arts enhancement programs throughout Australia, New Zealand and the USA.
He is an experienced conductor and musical director, having worked in theatre and live music, particularly recognised for his concert stagings. A Greenroom-nominated writer and performer, Drew has presented shows as part of Melbourne Cabaret Festival, Midsumma and Fringe Festival. Drew is an Executive Producer for Front & Centre Australia and an active member of the international Arts Schools Network.
Show Details
Drew performs this show with himself on vocals/piano, plus guitar, bass & drums. He also can add extra instruments if you would like a larger size band. The show can be performed as a morning and/or evening show.
There are no props or sets, which means minimal bump in/out. Grand Piano is required, and all other instrumetnts are provided by the musicians. Standard concert/cabaret lighting rig. The show can be performed as a 1 x 70 minute show or a 2 x 40 minute show.
This is a brand new show for Winding Road Productions and has been performed as part of The Melbourne Cabaret Festival at Chapel off Chapel
